"KEIGIO", founded in 2015 by designer Giovanni Bruni, the brand name means "the shape of a physical object located in a space" and the vision is to design furniture in a way that allows everyone to become their own interior designer, creating miniature buildings that can be assembled repeatedly according to space and needs, using the 'gamification' concept, using a playful approach to increase the motivation for solving problems to adapt the changes in the working and living space (Modular Furniture Shop barcelona, 2023). In this case, we can understand the use of modular elements in the design of furniture, which retains its practicality while emphasising spatiality, increasing the interactivity of the furniture through the gamification of the modules, allowing the user to "create" and raising expectations.

Meanwhile, Giovanni Bruni (2021) talked in an interview about KEIGIO setting up a "configurator" that allows clients to simulate on screen their desired combinations, such as colours, finishes, and the light of the surroundings (Archiproducts, 2021). By combining the real and the virtual, bringing gameplay more directly into furniture design, taking advantage of the psychological and emotional cues that gamification provides to the user, increasing the user's awareness of autonomous interaction, and by designing a system that reserves sufficient space for the user to create their own work, enhancing the sense of participation.
