Create Mobile from Waste Material

In the morning, artist Corrie Williamson showed us her Mobile made from recycled materials, and a collection of patchwork and jewellery made from different woods, metals and plastics.

Making Processes

I used offcuts from my previous laser cutting of gears to create the Mobile with the theme of 'Play', combining plastic water bottles and bamboo sticks.

Final Works

My idea was to make a Moblie that could be played with and changed to a different hanging position.

By adding water to the empty water bottle to keep the structure balanced, the teeth of the gears were used as slots for the hanging parts.
