Dying the Acrylic Board 1

Based on research with the artist Felipe Pantone, I am going to experiment with acrylic dying to create textures.

Making Process

I started by testing the colours with various percentages of water and dyes and experimented with mixing different dyes to create more unique colours.

Dying with Textures

I tried taping the texture on to the acrylic sheet and then dyeing it. However, the result was not satisfactory and the presentation of the texture was very blurred and difficult to see.
