Movable Drain Rack

Material: Acrylic round rod & Rubber tube & Wheel

Different drinks and foods are stored in many different containers. After use and cleaning, they need to be drained and stored. However, some items that are ready to use will always be placed on the drain rack, resulting in water dripping on the table and difficult to clean. So I thought of adding wheels to the drain rack to make it easier to move when the table needs to be cleaned.

Making Processes

First Test

For the first production I chose to use the round plastic ring that I had used to wrap the copper wire around as a wheel, but when I placed the cup on the shelf I found that it did not slide smoothly. Therefore, I chose to replace the plastic ring with a whell in order to achieve a smooth sliding motion.

Second Test

Use the whell to replace the plastic rings to achieva a smooth sliding motion.
