Fruit Bowl

Material: Cooper wire

I tried to weave copper wire in the way of knitting woolen caps, and only used copper wire to complete the production of a fruit bowl without using additional links such as welding and pasting. In production process, copper wires of different colors are gradually added

. During the weaving process, the copper wires of different colors are interlaced with each other, which naturally forms a color gradient, making the whole bowl more natural.

Making Processes

First Test

For the first test, I used 3mm circular knitting needle to make the fruit bowl. But it didn't work well, the texture is too tight and messy.

Second Test

Based on the first test, I change to use the 8mm circular knitting needle to make fruit bowl. It works better and to achieve the effect that I want the fruit bowl to be deformed at will.

I also tried to use wire of different colours to create more reflections of texture.
