Final Making

For the final outcome I made two complete pieces of the pattern, one circular and one corrugated. For the integrity of the pattern and to reduce the possibility of breakage, I asked Tess and he advised me to place a piece of paper under the clay while carving so that it would be safer and less likely to break during moving.

Therefore, I put a piece of newspaper under the clay while carving. This allows the pattern to move as a whole by moving the paper when moving before firing, reducing the touch and decreasing the rate of breakage.
