Test with the Opitical Illusion

I tried to draw some optical illusions in AI and experimented with geometric shapes rather than circles for the optical illusion effect, the most successful of them being the octagon. When it rotates, the eight sides appear to be swinging towards the centre at the same time.

I cut the strips out by laser cutting, and then I kept regrouping and piecing them together to experiment with what combinations would give a more interesting visual effect.
