Visit Collect

During my visit to the Collect Exhibition, I was fascinated by the dynamic visual effects that some of the designs displayed. For example, the use of repetitive textures and graduated patterns made the static patterns seem to converge towards the centre, making it hard to restrain a second glance. There are also works that combine different geometric shapes to pose the overall form in a strange balance, and the contrast between balance and instability is also very captivating to the attention.

These works make me aware of the visual playability of colour, line, structure, or dimension presented in an unconventional or conflicting way, which visually impacts the object and triggers a desire to touch it.
